Almost Time

We're almost ready to be off on another road trip.

We have made several upgrades to the campervan--new shocks, front brakes, two new tires,  reading lights, more shelves and a toaster oven. The water tank is filled, the batteries are charging and the refrigerator is cooling down. Tomorrow we will load the food, store our clothes and gear and we should be off early in the morning.

We are heading to New Mexico, Arizona, Utah and Colorado visiting the National Parks and Monuments and whatever catches our fancy, starting with the Grand Canyon and ending the western part of our trip at the Rocky Mountain National Park.

On the way home, we hope to visit Great Smoky Mountains and Shenandoah National Park, also stopping at some of the sites we missed last winter, especially Monticello and the Civil War battlefields. Our plan is to have a spring adventure on the road and be home by July to enjoy the best of summer in New England.
